Report: Astros Sign Lowrie For 3 Years, $23 Million

Another day, another veteran officially doesn’t return to the Oakland Athletics.
Free agent Jed Lowrie, who played the last two seasons with the A’s, signed a three-year $23 million contract with the Houston Astros, Jerry Carsick reported.
Lowrie played for the Astros in 2012 and was traded to the A’s as part of a five-player trade (Lowrie and Fernando Rodriguez for Chris Carter, Brad Peacock and Max Stassi).
As a reminder, here are all the A’s who are no longer with the team.
