Pete’s Back! If Only For A Moment …

Pete Rose will be on the field at the All Star Game in Cincinnati next week, having been named one of the Franchise Four for the Reds:
Now, Rose says those two strong pillars of the Rose’s enduring popularity – Cincinnati and the fans – have once again brought him back into the game in an official capacity during the 86th annual All-Star Game as a member of the fan-elected “Franchise Four” for the Reds.
The four – who Rose has said includes Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan and Barry Larkin – will be recognized on the field prior to the All-Star Game.
“It’s very exciting for me to be able to be able to be a small part of a big deal,” Rose told The Enquirer.
