The popular Bobby Ojeda will no longer sharing his views on Mets pre- and post-game broadcasts:

SNY brass and the Ojeda could not reach agreement on a new deal, industry sources said Thursday. Ojeda’s contract expired following last season.

“Bobby wanted to come back this season. He absolutely wanted to,” a source close to Ojeda said. “Even with some changes on the horizon in the studio he wanted to return.”

The sticking point, as it usually is, was money. The two sides remained far apart on the financial terms of a new package for Ojeda.

The news was not greeted warmly by the highest profile Mets fan:
