Braves Selloff Continues, Reportedly Shipping Gattis To Houston

The Atlanta Braves traded catcher/outfielder Evan Gattis to the Houston Astros on Tuesday for three prospects, David O’Brien reports:
Any remaining question about whether the Braves are rebuild mode was answered Wednesday when they agreed to trade traded slugger Evan Gattis to the Houston Astros for three prospects, a person familiar with the situation said.
The Braves will get two of the Astros’ top-10 prospects — right-hander Mike Foltynewicz and third baseman Rio Ruiz — in the package for Gattis, who was in Houston for a physical examination on Wednesday, as first reported by USA Today’s Bob Nightengale.
Gattis, 28, will follow Jason Heyward and Justin Upton out of town. He hit .263/.317/.493 with 22 home runs in 401 plate appearances last year.
