Farewell, Gaby Sanchez, You Magnificent TOOTBLANer

Gaby Sanchez – formerly of the Pittsburgh Pirates – will play next season in Japan after agreeing to a one-year deal with the Rakuten Eagles of Japan’s Pacific League.
Sanchez, 31, played seven big league seasons with the Marlins and Pirates, putting up a .254/.332/.413 batting line. He hit 19 home runs in back to back seasons for the Marlins in 2010 and 2011 but never came close to duplicating that with the Pirates.
He was, however, part of what has been named the greatest TOOTBLAN in history this past season. Just watch:
Farewell, Gaby Sanchez. We will miss you.
