The Philadelphia Phillies took the next step in getting younger by signing starter Aaron Harang:

Harang, 36, actually makes pretty sense for the Phillies in what looks to be a lost season as they begin their rebuild. He’s cheap, will eat up some innings, and is a bridge to the future.

The 13-year veteran had a 3.57 ERA and 3.57 FIP last season. Ta-da!
