Kris Medlen Signs Two-Year Deal With Royals

A day after signing Edinson Volquez to a two-year deal, the Royals announced they have signed Kris Medlen to a two-year $8.5 million contract:

Medlen, 29, had spent his entire career with the Braves. He became a full-time starter at the end of 2012, his fourth season with the Braves. Stats and whatnot here.
