Dodgers DFA Brian Wilson

Brian Wilson, the once dominant reliever who is set to earn $9.5 million in 2015, was designated for assignment Tuesday by the Dodgers. Assuming nobody claims him, any MLB team could have him for the league minimum – or whatever the market will bear (aka the league minimum).
Wilson, 32, had 163 saves between 2008-11 while striking out 10.1 batters per nine innings, but hasn’t rebounded from an elbow injury the first week of the 2012 season.
#Dodgers Zaidi chuckled when asked if Wilson’s personality/team chemistry was factor in DFA move. Said it “was foremost about performance”

The Dodgers are on the hook for his 2015 salary. God only knows where Wilson will end up next season.
